In nearly 2 hours of playing I probably only actually played about 30 minutes, the rest feeling like I was watching a bad CGI movie.
Most of the time they provided little information, were poorly written, and went on for way too long. The biggest problem I had was with the ridiculous number of unskipable cut scenes. A lot of the stealth component was find the one passage forward, hit e, then hold to move forward. AI would sometimes see me randomly without line of sight in the dark and other times I could stand right next to them without reaction. The gameplay itself was mediocre erring on clunky. But there’s a twist: each Neighbor is controlled by advanced AIs! Can you outsmart the Neighbors and find out what they’re hiding? I only got a couple hours into the game.
But impeding your progress is your neighbor controlled by an advanced AI that learns patterns from you and all other players! As time passes it gets more familiar with your playstyle the more difficult it will be until he ultimately surprises and catches you. Step into the shoes of a journalist looking to solve a missing person’s case, because no one else seems to dare to. Hello, Neighbor Two is a stealth horror game developed by Eerie Guest and TinyBuild about uncovering your neighbors’ secrets.
